Likes achievements are a little easier than rate achievements because people can like you from a tool tip if you're VIP. Makes it easier for the lazy players.

The entire likes achievements (like any other), is all about resets.

Always as with any achievement such as this, get you a banner made. Dee or I will be more than happy to provide you with a banner free of charge along with "Like Me" and "Likes Reset" pics for you to use during your run. As always.. if anyone tries to charge you or ask anything in return for making a banner or pics... RUN.

Prepare yourself for this LIKES run.  Make sure your privacy settings are set to where everyone can see what you do so that you can keep that LIVE FEED lit up!  Try to use a desktop as some things you do on the mobile app will not show up in the LIVE FEED.  Also get that friend base as close to 5k people as quick as possible.  The more who can see you in that LIVE FEED, the more chances of them coming over to LIKE you.

Likes CAN be simple to get with the work put into it. When I coach someone on a likes achievement I use the following guidelines.

1. Wait for a likes bonus. Not a Rock Star day, not a Likenado day... a LIKES day. This gives optimal points for those who will come and like you during your run. Yes, it can be a long wait, but you will be more successful and come out a lot less expensive by doing so.

2. NO HAPPY HOUR. I do not suggest happy hours for ANY achievement unless the achievement requires it (such as bombing a certain amount during a happy hour, 2500 likes during a happy hour). You have to buy your happy hour a week in advance and there is no way of knowing what the bonus will be. Most people won't want to waste it and go for the likes anyway... and most times... they come up short because of a bad bonus for their particular run. Not to mention the timing on your power ups. There are those I have coached through runs who will tell you in THIS situation, they are a timing NIGHTMARE. Not to mention for the price of a happy hour you can buy a Likenado.

3. NO FAMPS. I know a lot will disagree, but famps are for rates for OTHERS... NOT likes for yourself. You have enough to do on a likes achievement without worrying about running a famp.. people bombarding you wanting in... and the timing on a famp is crucial. You can fire up a boomy every now and then if you want... it won't HURT you... but won't help much at all. If someone suggest you run a famp during a likes achievement... be very weary of this person... most likely they have their own well being in mind... NOT YOURS... remember... this is YOUR day.

Now for what to run and when. How many power ups you will need depends on a few factors.

1. How hard you work your page. During a likes achievement... you are going to need to be IN THAT FEED. Liking people is BEST. You can easily like about 12 people per minute... so you should show up in my feed almost constantly. The more you show up in the feed, the more folks will see you being active and come like you. 

2. Make sure to like everyone running a Likenado. These like you back and COUNT on this achievement.

3. Do NOT change your name at ALL. Keep it the same that is on your banner. This is the name going in our status and most people's for that matter. Do not put the amount of likes you need in your name. I have seen folks who needed a LOT less likes than their name shows. It tells me they AREN'T being active. Not to mention, it takes a few minutes to change your name. You need to chase some likes.

4. A blast is GOOD. On days when I rarely use my free weekly blast.. I normally get 20% or more likes without running anything. While you are waiting for a LIKES bonus do NOT use your free blast if that is what you plan on using. Just as sure as you do... a LIKES bonus will show up the next day. You can BUY one at anytime... but if you're going to use the FREE one... SAVE IT!

5. How many likes you need. Well of course... the more likes you need... the more power ups required.

6. Do not waste your time uploading videos. I have this blocked from my feed as most people do.

7. Mumms... ehhh.... I'm iffy. Yes it is true you get likes for mumm votes. Some say you get TWO or even THREE likes off a mumm vote. I have yet to see this proven in ANYWAY... so I'm not going to agree or disagree... I PERSONALLY think you should spend the time chasing likes. If you DO want to use mumms, make sure they are GLOBAL... not to friends only... AND NSFW. There is a different breed of people in the mumms... if THEY mark it NSFW... they just killed ya mumm... personally.. I don't think they are worth it.

Now... when I went through my BIG likes runs 10K ect. It was pretty simple... we only had Rock Stars.. AND you couldn't overlap. Yes... we saw people get 25K and I THINK even 35K likes... running only Rock Stars. People were more willing to help back then.

Here is what I have done since the coming of Likenados.

1. Start a Rock Star as SOON as the likes bonus hits or ASAP.

2. Wait one hour and start a likenado. This will reset your likes.

3. Wait for the Rock Star to end...and fire up another Rock Star... then wait your hour to start your next Likenado... just like before.

This staggers the power ups. Each time you start a Rock Star or Likenado.. it resets your likes. NEVER start both at the same time.. you are robbing yourself of resets.. and that is what this achievement is all about... RESETS.... and of course when ya reset... put it in your status and use the handy "LIKES RESET" pic... made by us... free of charge... sorry.. selfish plug 

Now.. some people want to run both Rock Star AND Likenados all through their run... you CAN do this.. if ya got the credits to do so... and it would get your likes quicker... maybe not cheaper... but quicker.

If you DO want to run both at the same time... again... start with JUST a Rock Star... wait an hour start a Likenado. This will again stagger the power ups... so you won't ever be starting them at the same time. Again... each time you start one... it resets your likes.

If we have made your banner and pics we will help coach you through your achievement. Most likely only ONE of us will be in your shoutbox helping you along... if both of us do.. it may only confuse you. We work together on our end on talking you through this. Others may come and try to help... some have good intentions.. just tell them thank you. It gets confusing when you start listening to multiple people. You end up confused... and end up failing... WE don't want that.
