A friend I actually got onto a discussion about a neighbor we had a while back who had a life threatening illness. Doctors gave him a few months to live at the most, however he did have an option to where he could go through a series of operations and actually be cured.
The downfall however, is that the life expectancy rate post op was close to about 3 percent. Considering the fact that he was not only an aged man but a man who was very ill, chances of him surviving the operation was slim to none.
So, here's my question. Would you live your last few months in life knowing that you were going to pass away, and simply, I guess tie up loose ends or, doing whatever you'd do in your final days? Or, would you risk having an operation that you might not live through to see tomorrow. |
