It's easy enough to be pleasant, When life flows by like a song, But the one worth while Is the one who can smile, When everything goes dead wrong. For the test of the heart is trouble And it always comes with the years, And the smile that is worth The praises of earth Is the smile that shines through tears!

The people who spend their whole lives caring for their own well-being are not loving themselves...they're embalming themselves.

There is a time to work and play, A time to eat and sleep; A time to study and to pray, A time to laugh and weep; A time for fellowship that's sweet, A time for sacred song; But never is there time to treat A human being wrong. There's a time to lift those up and help them on life's road; A time to drain their bitter cup And share their heavy load; A time to bless them with our grace And boost them all along; But never is there time and place To treat each other wrong. There is a time to help those seek The ONE who saves their souls; A time to show them that the meek Can reach life's highest goals; A time to help them turn aside And leave the wicked throng; But never should anyone provide A time to treat those wrong.

Drop thy still dews of quietness Till all our striving cease; Take from our souls the strain and stress and let our odered lives confess The beautiy of thy Peace.

Life is a strange, two-sided thing... A dirge to chant, or a song to sing; A sad, cold world, or a thrilling place, A tough, old grind, or an exciting race. A drudge-filled chore, or a challenging dare, A thorny bush, or a flower fair. A task to do or a chance to give, A day to spend or a life to live!
