Wicked rose, I had no idea you hid such a hideous thing.
Until I felt the horrid sting
From the bottom of my throat the cry was torn,
as blood trickled from the wound left by your thorn.

still, you kept hidden the bad side of you,
But alas your ugly secret shows it's face,
And I, with hard lesson learned
plant a dandelion in the wicked rose's place.
