I know I'll probably get some hate mail on this, but I really don't care. I fucking love Deal or No Deal. So much so, I got three versions installed on my computer and over the weekend, my sick ass went to a Wal-Mart, Target and a K-Mart looking for a DVD version of the game. I did find it at the K-Mart after looking in their messy toy section four or five times. ($23.09 by the way, just 48 cents less than what I would have paid if I bought it online.) Oh, and I got the logo as my background now. So there. What can I say? I'm a game show junkie.

Yeah, I said it. I love LostCherry. In just four months, I have almost as many friends here as I have in almost two years on MySpace. And you notice that this site doesn't have nearly as many technical problems as that other site. And you get love from literally the second you signed up. (Admit it, you got flooded with comments the second you finished signing up, didn't you?) Oh, and the tech support is actually helpful. And I made some really, really, really awesome friends. Now that they've gotten around to adding blogs, LostCherry is truly the shit. By the way, since I joined four months ago, 240,000+ people joined. (No, I'm not responsible for all those adds. Maybe about 80-100 of them. That's it. Anyways, to whoever it was that put this site together (I'm assuming it's babyjesus since he is user #1, but if I'm wrong, someone let me know.) thanks!!!! I'm sure a lot of us were dying for an alternative to MySpace and you gave it to us. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are few feelings more satisfying in the world than doing something people think you can't do. Case in point: last October. My girlfriend just broke up with me and I lost my job in the span of a week. While I was looking for a job in the newspaper, my ex told me I'm better off just giving up. And you know something, I listened. I threw in the towel more or less, packed my stuff, and moved in with my first ex for about ten days. Then I moved back home to Baltimore, down and depressed. I was out of work until January (when my parents were about to kick me out) when I finally got me a job as an office clerk. I was sick of it after about two or three months and I looked aggressively for better work. Today, I'm happy to tell you (and all those that doubted me) I will soon be an office secretary. With a lot more money and benefits. Did I mention I was going back to school too and starting next month? To those that stuck by me and through me through my hard times, thanks. To those that doubted me, thank you too. Now I get to rub it in your face. Isn't that a good feeling?

Sometimes, I just need a laugh. Two days ago, I was having a really shitty day. I was doing the switchboard thing all day at work, which left me little time to get my actual work done. Then just before I leave work, I call my cell phone only to find out it’s still off, after being told for about a week that my folks were gonna pay my part of the bill to turn it back on. When I get home, I find out that my portion of the bill was used to pay an electric bill that wasn’t paid for three or four months. In fact, my stepdad told me that they were in the process of cutting it off that day. Nice. Anyways, a few minutes later, I popped in The Longest Yard (the new one; I’m renting the original this weekend) in my DVD player on my computer and I laughed my ass off. It put me in a good mood for about two hours. I fell asleep through half of it though, but it’s all good. (LOL) When I woke up, I got a message on Yahoo from this friend bitching at me. So yeah, I vented back. But anyways, back to why I like stupid comedy movies: I don’t have to think. I can just sit and enjoy it! I’m sure everyone wants to enjoy a movie like that once in a while. My favorites by the way: Roadtrip, Eurotrip, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Oh, and I love the American Pie series. My favorite’s the original.
