mum expired. [EVERYONE]

I have a 1999 BMW 528i.....it's in the shop right now. Repair bill is going to be about $1500. Debating if I want to put more money into it or if it's time to get a new car. I hate to have a payment again but I don't know if it's wise to keep sinking money into this one. It already has 230k miles.
