I was on my way to my appt and this lil boy was just laying on the sidewalk like he fell off the wall and wasn't moving. So I stopped to find out what was going on and if he was ok. He said a scooter ran him over. I was like can u get up? and he did and he had bruises on his back and I said where's ur mom he said at work. I was like who's taking care of u? He said his gma so I said lets go talk to her. She had the door locked.. so he couldn't get in so I just all but laid on the doorbell and she finally answered and I said u need to take him the hospital he says he got ran over by a scooter. She said she would have his mom take care of it when she got home. I was like ah no u need to take him now and if u don't want to how bout I take him and u and his mom can meet us there. She said she would take care of it. Well kid told cops he was playing with his friends and got hurt. Total different story than he told me. Do I keep helping ppl who look like they need it or no?
Ps. Don't tell me to mind my own business cus that's why abuse and neglect keep happening in the world cus ppl won't step in. |
