What are you waiting for?
People will bring you to hell and back just to see if you’re worth it. They’ll test you and they’ll fail you, over and over again, to see if you have what it takes in you to be a survivor. They’ll betray you and they'll break your trust just to see if you’re willing to forgive them and move forward. They’ll bring the ugliness out of you just to see if you still end up being beautiful. They’ll even beat you and break you down just to see if you have the power in you to pick up all the pieces and rebuild. Well, I don’t know about you, but I don’t have the time to be repeatedly broken, tested, run down and drained. I am a survivor with or without you and I don't have to nor am I looking to prove myself to anybody. For the people who know me and love me will accept me, so I will no longer waste my precious time on my earth trying to fix me to fit you. You want to love me? The very first step is know me well enough to accept me for who I am. Accept me for my flaws and accept me for my heart. I will no longer soak myself in sadness, because I came to recognition that you have to lose them, a lot of them, just to find your winners.
