Right now, I am learning to live alone. I have always been either in my parent's home or in a home I made with my spouse. I have always described myself (in recent years) as an 18 year old trapped in a middle age body. Now it is true. It's like I'm off to college and living alone for the first time, well except with better furnishings. I have never had the freedom that I do now, not sure what to do with it. I do know that I miss the day to day intimacy of sharing my life with another. (And intimacy is not all about sex) I enjoy good conversation and sharing. I enjoy preparing meals for others that nourish not only the body but the mind. I recently was given a very nice camera, and am exploring the joys of photography....whew, I have lots to learn....but it is very enjoyable.
