Interests
I am an author of a little over two years now. I began writing my first book halfway through my Freshmen year of high school, and finished it halfway through my Senior. Two years later, "The Fallen", hit Barnes&Noble shelves. I am currently working on its sequel, as well as a dark fantasy, and am writing a horror screenplay of my own, as well as co-writing an action screenplay that plays out in a similar style as Boondock Saints.
Music
I like a wide array of music ranging from classics such as the likes of Frank Sinatra or Sammy Davis Junior, to the more contemporary sounds of Metallica and Nine Inch Nails. I feel that somewhere along the way music lost its way and is quickly being reduced to generic beats, and remixed garbage. It makes me sad that the voices of antiestablishment have been silenced by censorships and made to serve the almighty dollar instead of the fans that propelled the musicians into fame and fortune.
Movies
I can admittedly say that I am a horror junky. There isn't a horror movie made that I haven't seen. Personally, I have a greater respect for the filmmakers and actors in the horror industry because they produce vivid, plot driven pieces on meager budgets. Any idiot can make a great movie if you handed him or her 30 million bucks, but try to do the same thing on a budget of a cool mil (or in the case of the original Friday the 13th, a little over a hundred grand), and see what the outcome is. There's no budget for flashy special effects and big explosions, so one must push the boundries of creativity and become innovaters of the industry.
