I've been out of work for a couple of months and have an interview coming up on Friday. The position is only part time now but the opportunity for advancement is there when a full time position opens up. I've also applied for a full time time position with another company, less pay but benefits but no opportunity for advancement and not in a field that I enjoy. I'm in a bind, I need the full time benefits but would almost be making the same pay in the part time position. So should I
A. take the part time and hope a full time position opens up quick and at least be doing something I enjoy
or
B. take the full time with the benefits and reapply when something opens up at the other place. |
