I accept that everyone is unlike me.. and in ways I find it a beautiful thing. I'm not afraid to get to know people, and I'm not afraid to be my own person. I build up walls, not to keep people out but to see who cares enough to break them down.

Sometimes I distance myself from people when I feel like something fishy is going on. I don't have time to play games like a child, therefore I don't want to try to figure you out. I do this before I get hurt, it's like a shiel I carry around until I can trust you. But if I trust you.. you have a special place in my heart. And if you win my heart, please don't hurt it.

I am the kind of person that would rather sit at home and watch movies with my family or friends than go out and party. I am over that phase in life. It is time for me to grow up and I think that only gets in the way. I mean, yeah I like to have fun, but there is a limit and a time and place for the things you do. I don't really associate with immature people. I am not in high school anymore and I don't need the drama.

I love my family and friends more than anything. You mess with them and you mess with me. And I stand up big time for anyone that I love. I don't like to get angry or upset... but at times it happens to everyone. I have a temper, but I don't like it and I am working on controlling it or getting rid of it all together. Because being angry with people makes you say or do things that later on in life you will regret. I still think of things people has done to me, so why would I want to do it to someone else?

I have made some bad decisions in my life, but I have learned from them all. I don't regret anything that has happened to me. The mistakes I have made and the things I have went through make me the person that I am today. Strong and smart. Sometimes I am even thankful for my past because it is a wonder how things would be right now if I hadn't learned the hard way.

Finally, don't make someone a priority that only makes you an option. That is your best bet. I want to complete someone's life... get lost in their eyes... be appreciated for a change. I love when people can make me smile and laugh. Most of all... when they can touch a part of my heart that makes me have butterflies everytime I talk to them or think about them. It is the most amazing feeling in the world. You know then that they are one of a kind, someone worth your tears.
