Slippery When Wet's blog: "inward tears"

She was uncertain but felt pulled by strings
The softness no longer able to contain her
So within, she spoke words that no one heard
Sometimes tears fell inward
And she searched, longing

Eyes that smiled, but contained a darkness
Furious fingers tried, but still left her aching
Peering out..she was missing that which she craved
The brave little girl, who dreamt
A dream of darkness and light

Hoping her soul would not be devoured
by the greater darkness
