Copied from Wiki: An improvised explosive device (IED) is a bomb constructed and deployed in ways other than in conventional military action. They may be partially comprised of conventional military explosives, such as an artillery round, attached to a detonating mechanism. Until now 70% of my friends in the military and deployed have been killed or severly wounded by IEDs. Recently, to my knowledge, 4 canadians have been killed and has severly wounded other canadian troopers present at that moment. My hatred for usage of IEDs on us(Dutch, American, Canadian, British,,etc) has grown more and more by the second. How does one expect to fight this war? You know what...this is just me ranting coz im sad i lost another friend coz of these IEDs. im sorry!
Update july 30th: yet again 2 of our troops been hit by IED's while being on footpatrol. Fortunatly they are ok..minor injuries...but still ..still...
