To action

At any time

But I won't cry

You can leave

On a moments

Notice

Phone calls

Can be limited,

Missed,

Or dropped

Before a goodbye

But I won't cry

I could be

Holding you

One moment

And letting go

the next

But I won't cry

I accept

That you volunteered

To put your life

On the line

But I won't cry

I will store

In my memory

All the time

We spend together

I will hold you

In my heart

Where you will live

Forever

I will be strong

And wear

A brave face

Wait...

To late...

I lied...
