I wish that time would move faster, so that all of my tomorrows would become
yesterdays.
And all I would have before me is brighter days.

Until then I suffer from depression as if it were a fatal disease

Instead I praise God when each day is done.

I wish that the things I saw were without flaw; and perfect in fashion and form.
That way I might experience joy and not scorn.

I wish that I had a thousand wishes; and all those wishes were covered in my baby’s
sweet chocolate kisses.
So that I could wish away these days that stink like fishes!

I wish I didn’t receive dirty looks as a result of being labeled a crook.
I have so many wishes they could fill a book.

I wish that butters really could fly and those who point at my speck would remove the
log from their own eye!
Maybe then my mother wouldn’t have to cry.

Maybe then I could regain the joy I once had.

Because at least back then you knew it wasn’t safe to walk the streets.
