So I told him that I want to be with him....well he told me he already knew that I loved him...Then he goes on to say that it would never work. Since we are "complete opposites," I'm "just like" the one woman he fell in love with years ago, I'm too "smart" for him.....Basically he told me that I am too good for him. Then he went on to that the kind of relationship we have is the same that his parents had before they got married and now they hate eachother. He insists that he know I'm different than the past girl, but doesnt want to screw up out friendship by being together. He also told me that he loves me too, but is scared of a relationship because he doesn't want to loose me if things were to end badly. But I will always be his "Baby Gurl" I need help with this.... I really don't understand.....help me...
Do Icontinue to have hopes that he'll give in or just be friends and get over it already? |
