Well here i am again after eing at work fr what seems like ages with no time off and finally snapped a week ago, giving my boss an ultimatum of give me some time off or i go to the union (pretty handy guys these union reps!) and although i was working 7 days a week my union rep managed to pursuade them (elite security) that i had all of a sudden become a religious nut and refused to work on sundays. Seems like ages since i havebeen on this site and i can say i have missed all u cherries!! over and out, l8r guys!

Its saturday affternoon and i have had to go into work to see if i was required. Also spending time using a library computer as mine died the other day..... shall have to buy a new one next month, im having withdrawal symptoms from no CT ...LOL

Hey guys, it's like nearly 5am here and i just got in from work!!!!! Nice to know some people think im super-human, after a phone call on my usual site i was told urguntly the guard for booker had not turned up and i was urgently needed, so theres me like a lemon agreeing to do it, and what thanks do i get? "get to your usual site for 8sm THIS MORNING!" I wouldnt mind but i havent had a day off in nearly 4 weeks. Elite Security's comments: " We don't care if you feel dead, as long as there's a body on site we get paid" All i gotta say to that is Elite (Security) are "Tight-Fisted B******s!" While Working JJB Sports in Smethwick (Birmingham UK) as a cover Retail Security officer, i got a message over the radio from the control room to look out for a certain IC1 male who was theiving from several stores ( this guys a known Drug Addict) who had underestimated me as I spotted him straight away acting suspicious and decided it was safer for me to ffollow him (at a distance) than the store management to follow him. He was well aware i was watching , looked out the corner of my eye to see him pocket a set of darts. (How cheap can ya get for a fix?) Upon going towards the exit, I waited to see if he would go to the till to pay for the so called darts which he never.... running straight through the doors with the alarm going off i Grabbed hold of his arm where he realled round and gave me a kick to the leg bringing me down and at that point i forwarded a message to other security that assistance was urgently required, who Interveined within 30 seconds, along with six police officers Result: him arrested for theft and assault of an officer. to think, as he is a known heroin user (who jacks up) i was lucky not to have been stabbed with a needle! If getting an Injury or a death- setance is a perk, then Elite can shove their job where the sun don't shine! I am not paid enough to be a hero and life insurance aint gonna help me if im dead is it!! would like to know other readers thoughts on this, thanx.

This morning i have to go down to the company offices to receive an 'official' rollocking from my boss, for turning up at work late! The snide git even waited outside in his car as he watched me walk into work, then followed me in 2 minutes later, that diciplinary is gonna go in one ear and out the other!!!

Hey people, that time of day again, and it's a SUNDAY and i don't have any choice but to work it. Am driving up to Northampton this morning and guarding JJB sports (wonder how many theiving f*****s I'll catch today?) Also have to drop a new guard at his site and introduce him (that will be my excuse for being late on the job), then spend 10 hours in the cold standing by the doors continuous till my shift ends!!, I hate working weekends as i sometimes am rostered to do sat/sun..... grrrr, give me my office back with me cameras. (at least i get paid to sit on my A** for doing virtually nothing!!) On the other hand it's been slow where i work watchin the cams in a control room but had to do an eviction, arrest 3 lads for criminal damage, and get what seemed like endless complainsts from tenants ...........

Last Night i learned what my new job title was, I am currantly on a course with 8 other men, who are all doing Retail Security (Front-Line), for some reason i have been given a totally different job of CCTV Operator (approx £12 per hour!) I guess they decided to make me a CCTV operator as i have 11 years experience in the Security industry, sounds nice n cushy. All i need to do now is pass the exam for the CCTV operators licence which wont be difficult (Got 92% on the SITO, so easy as hell!) But what i'm trying to figure is why ME? (chosen for the job)The rate of pay is approx the same as a police officer.
