So the biggest holiday of the year is just around the corner...my kids are excited, even though they don't believe in Santa anymore...I know they will be disappointed if the big guy doesn't give them at least one present....
This is my favourite holiday...I love the decorating, baking, shopping...I don't even mind the crowds of annoying people at the mall....I'm not sure why, but this year feels different to me....it's the first of December and my cupoboards are bare...lol....no baking done and nobody telling me that they're already gaining weight :) I put up the lights and some of the decorations...and hopefully will get the tree up this weekend :) I know, it seems early, but I am nuts---and usually have the tree up and fully decorated by mid-November (a tradition started when my daughter was little and home from a bout in the hospital).
I think I may put on some good old Christmas music and try to get my self psyched up for the holidays....there's nothing like lip-synching to Jingle Bells to put you in the mood...hahahah
Ugghhh.....I think maybe I should spike some eggnog too....a little drunkenness is always expected at Christmas....it helps you deal with the dysfunctional members of your family...LMAO
