Dear Lord
The wind that blows the clouds
Reminds me of how you
carry me threw life
The stars at night remind me
how you want us to shine
and the multitudes humble me
The farms and the cattle I pass
Reminds me to be thankfull
For the food on my plate
and my hands on the plow
The rain reminds me of your grace
That there is always good
Even threw the thunder and lightning
The restlessness helps me
remember and be thankfull
for the comforts of home
And last but not least
The black top reminds me
of were Ive been
and where Im going
with american freedom
and to choose
