Potential Clients and Some Words of Wisdom
-------------------------------------------
1. For the downsized -- who can’t understand why loyalty wasn’t rewarded
Nobody owes you a living. You can’t rely on an employer for your whole existence, they can only supplement you. Compute your minimal needs and
try to get an employer to supply that. Understand which of your limits are artificial and can be changed.
Decide which minimum steps to ambassadorship you need to get serious about and pray for inspiration. Go with strengths or weaknesses, whichever you prefer. I suggest you get 12 guiding scriptures to believe most earnestly.
2. For the downtrodden -- oppressed, out of time to fill in forms again and again
Needless to say, your typing skills come in handy filling out forms. This is simplified if you have a generic form already well prepared. Or get a friend to do it for you.
You might be surprised what kinds of careers you would consider under various conditions, so fill out the 35-environment situation survey of MINE, unless it is really bothersome to think on negative things, i.e. if dark brooding gets on your nerves you might wait until you’re more desperate to consider this.
3. For the down-of-luck--can’t postpone punishment for admitted goofups and have damaged their reputation
Only moving to another location may solve a reputation screwup. Honesty is the best policy
--have the attitude to make amends, a willingness to change. You have to know
what you’re good at to have confidence.
Get in sync between your interests and the good of society and prospects should look up.
4. For the down-and-out--bankrupt, out of cash with no prospects
Allow the people that step forward to help you, being humble. Otherwise the next step is prison or homelessness.
Just the same, there’s nothing to lose by thinking BIG now, at least tentatively, to give people more an idea of what you’re really made of. Be satisfied with peanut steps in the right direction whenever you find out what that is.
5. For the downcast -- feel blackballed, hexed, jinxed
Have the courage -- rather GUMPTION! to actually ask someone if they’ve blackballed you. If you know what you know you can’t be fucked with.
Get close to GOD and the BIBLE (i.e. the LITERAL one of your choice from among religious writings that SOMEHOW communicate meaning and joy to you in such desperate straits. If you can, ignore the rest (i.e. all the other contradictory alternatives. Settle on one example for at least 2 weeks say to give it a chance to make a difference in your life).
My personal preference is among the NIV with references and concordance, the NRSV, and the Living Bible, all of the Christian faith. I always have found that truth discovered elsewhere of THE MOST ESSENTIAL religious nature
somehow was here also, BUT UNFORTUNATELY I sometimes first have to discover it elsewhere.
6. For the downfallen--fired from a high rank and can’t get back to comparable position
Nearly any job is better than no job. Get your foot in the door and show thatyou’re a reliable worker and you’ll get the opportunity to advance. Listen to music to re-learn how to relax.
Try to solve someone else’s unresolvable quandry and see what a great lift it gives to your charm and wholesomeness.
7. For the downhearted--dejected and depressed
Simplify you life. Do away with anything unfruitful that you’ve been pining after.
Build new dreams from the serendipitous coincidences of your life. Do something
physically active.
Decide which stumbling blocks in life are really molehills. Let serendipity inspire your syncopation ( juggling acts which are somehow real communication with others that seem to go somewhere), to thus overcome the remaining
stumbling blocks in any relationships ( or reincarnations of similar ones) that you want to continue. I.E., learn from your mistakes.
