Who you trying to please little girl
Your mom, your dad, those pretty girls who twirl
But why can't you see
You can't be what they want you to be
You are who you are
Don't change to reach a low bar
Set your sights on high
And don't listen to their jealous lies
You are special to someone
Who wants to be your shining sun
Someone's out there that loves you for you
No matter what you could ever do
There's someone who's right
And will take care of you through every night
Just because you are always reading a book
Doesn't mean that some guy won't look
Look at all this extra strife
You dont want to live like this your entire life
You can't see that you are the best
Because you want so badly to be like the rest
