I FOUND THIS IN MY DOCUMENTS...I HAD TOTALLY FORGOTTEN ABOUT IT...MY BEST FRIEND GENIE WROTE IT TO ME WHEN I WAS IN A DARK HOUR...AND FOR THAT I AM TRUELY THANKFUL....I LOVE HER MORE THAN ANYTHING...I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE IT WITH YA'LL
I have given this some thought now? ¦ (and here they are)
HERO =
1. In mythology and legend, a person, often of divine ancestry, who is endowed with great courage and strength, celebrated for their bold exploits, and favored by the gods.
2. A person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life.
3. A person noted for special achievement in a particular field.
A description of my Hero:
The ability to overcome abuse as a child and still love others.
The ability to overcome ridicule as a BBW all through the teenage years (kids are the cruelest creatures on earth)
The ability to overcome the loss of not one, but three children and still have the heart to love every child you come in contact with as if they were your own.
The ability to go to work for someone that you thought was your friend with a broken knee, just because you thought she appreciated it, only to find out she hated you and used you, and still walk away with your pride and dignity intact.
To sacrifice your own life and freedoms to stay at home to take care of your aging parents that needed you desperately
The ability to love everyone you meet for who they truly are, not what you think they are or what you want them to be.
The fact that you are truly color and gender blind when it comes to your friends.
The ability to hold it together while you watch your mother, your very best friend slip away to Heaven, but you never showed her anything but strength because that is what she needed to see
The ability to hold true to yourself to make yourself healthier, you have gone from 725lbs to 404lbs, you were my inspiration. Some may think it is nothing to loose weight?¦ I say to you, you have never tried it before?¦ I bow in awe of you.
I write all this to tell you, that the only HERO I have ever met has been Melynda Joy. A legacy of your kindness and bravery will be passed down to my child and to her children and so on...There is no doubt in my mind that you are noble born, because Angels come from Heaven and there is no higher Royalty?¦You have more courage and strength than Hercules himself? You have been content to sacrifice privacy and freedom for the needs of others, always thinking of someone else before yourself? I hereby bequeath to you Melynda Joy the HONORARY ACHIEVEMENT of being my Very Best Friend, and MY HERO!!!!!
