Cadillac Lady's blog: "Help!!!! My bed's been invaded by Baby Dolls, Hair brushes, and a two year old saying "Ewwww""

Do you ever feel like that mouse in the maze trying to find the cheese??? Well if you live in my neighborhood or need to manuver around it-- you will know that feeling... I only have two side street that will coinside with one other side street that runs directly beside my house.... There is road construction everywhere.... I swear every street in a four block radius is virtually blocked.... Once I get out of the maze-- my neighborhood... then I travel a short distance and wallah... another street baricaid.... another detour... another obsticle.... some of these streets have been closed for 3 months now, others are open on some days-closed on another... GPS tracking systems all over our town are as confused as we are.... On the intersection that my house sits on--you'd swear people can't read... "Road Closed" means just that...Yet, I have watched numerous people drive through these signs and then wonder why their vehicle bounces when they hit the 4 inch deep trench that is running the whole lenght of the street.. Down the street from me some 19 year old fool today drove around the baricaid and straigh into wet cement.... DUH... do you really thing that Road Closed sign was just a suggestion??? Do you really think it was just for decoration??? Or do you really think there was a valid reason why the Road was Closed... I will admit I am getting darn good at backing my bus down the road that runs beside my house for a full block... I have to do that to get to my house.... I think the construction crew is impressed with my backing skills now... lol I think if I see ONE MORE BARICAID then I am going to commit Baricaid homocide... Cones, Baricaids, and road closed signs filtrate my sleep and my waking hours... I am in baricaid hell here....

Oh the joys of having a 2 year old in the house.... Britney & Bailey are between apartments... and they are temporarily stationed at my house... I am loving this extra time with Bailey.... She is such a ham.... I just need to get use to waking up to the array of toys that I find in my bed each day.... I even fell asleep with Bailey brushing my hair while we laid down for a nap... Can we say "LOVELY"... She sure enjoyed it.... Now that Bailey is 2, she is able to ride the bus with me, I drive right by her day care every day so now I am picking her up on the bus... She now will say "I go bye bye Bus" (Bus highly pronounced)... and the fit she throws when it is time to get off.... She will even raise her hands at railroad tracks.... Bailey has also become my little Mini Me.... We play this peek-a-boo game, but instead of saying "BOO" we wave our handes excitedly and say "Oh my gosh Oh my gosh" ... because we are just thrilled to see each other... Well the other evening, while playing this game... I happened to of burped ( I know I know-- a real man getter there).... so we played again-- and Bailey tried her darndest to mimic my burp... it was so funny.... Bailey also has a chore while staying here... she has to help throw away trash.... She loves doing that (unless it's her own dirty diaper)... and then when she is done I praise and high-five her and off she goes to play again.... Bailey also calls me "MOM" and her mom is "MOMMIE"... she hears Britney calling me Mom so that is what she calls me... Well the other day my niece (Bucket Head) was over and of course she calls me "Aunt Resa".... well I wasn't responding to Bailey's summoning me and next thing I know she is saying "Resa... Resa".... Britney and I just looked at her and laughed.... I guess she will occassionally call Britney by her proper name also..... Who would of thought Grandbabies were this much fun.... For those that haven't heard... Grandbaby #3 is on his/her way... due sometime the end of July 2008-- Proud Parents are Dezarae' & her husband Nathan... Jaden will be a big brother...
