Hello everyone, I have been incredibly busy with the album! I hope that everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving had a wonderful holiday, and I look forward to hearing from you! -Kazy

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh .... not enough time in the mutha fuckin day lately... ya know? i need to vent.... so busy havent checked my myspace in 5 days... just working my ass off trying to raise the money needed to mix the record for myself... and all of you. in the meantime ive fallen back on shipping a bit.. so if u won a contest lately or ordered u will get the goods soon. appreciate ur patience.... can i vent for a minute? ya know.. u work ur ass off... dedicate ur entire life to something... u put ur soul into it, sacrifice everything in order to accomplish a certain goal.... that goal for me is KAZY. then u get a message from a contest winner of a free autographed CD saying that they are losing faith in you because u didnt ship their CD right away..... well... i want to apologize... and i want to say chill the fuck out at the same time. lol saying 'chill the fuck out' probably wouldnt be a good thing to a fan... but hey.. im aggressive right? thats how i react... emotionally... if i wasnt emotional i wouldnt be me. and if i wasnt me i wouldnt write the music u listen to and like right? so yeah.. chill out.... but hard for you to chill out if u dont know why.... so ill explain why u should chill out i just feel theres some value in what i want to say.... so check it... because the music industry sucks ur soul and money and life away. u put everything u have into it and u need to continue to fight at the highest level possible to hope of obtaining the goals u want which is basically spreading the word and reaching as many people as possible.. moving them with ur music.... etc... but it takes time.... and money... and patience... and HELP from people to obtain that goal. doing it independently is a huge challenge.. so u have to have ur soul ALL-IN so to speak... if u doubt at all.. or have any weakness towards it, you will surely fail. not just for the music industry but ANY industry... but i will say ESPECIALLY MUSIC. the industry is in flux... changes are upon us in a big way.... the recent RADIOHEAD and NIN going independent themselves will prove to be monumental moments in music history. well see more of this in coming years... this is good and bad.... good because music can work direct with fans without the middle man of a bloodsucking record label taking most of the money. thats something any and all of my favorite bands talk about at some point in their music.. KORN- YALL WANNA SINGLE SAY FUCK THAT.... NIN-STARFUCKERS.... TOOL-TON OF SONGS!.... the list goes on..... but its good big name bands are going to a direct relationship with the fans.... record labels are falling bigtime, losing tons of money which will ultimately allow for a new found model in the music industry allowing artists more creative control, closer relation with fans and ability to reap more of the benefits of success. but its bad because how do u make money in the music industry with the new model? u have to break big... u have to have everything in alignment... the SONGS first of all... then the quality has to be there of the recording and mixing to max the emotions of the tunes.... then the means of distribution , then the quality art work, proper marketing and advertising, then proper tour support, the quality street team (and keeping them happy which isnt easy).... all these things are tough to do independently at a high level.... but in order for a band to maximize its MESSAGE with creative control and to maximize the benefit (financially especially), it becomes very very challenging when the industry doesnt have a pure, proven pathway to success given this new model of the music industry which is kind of still forming itself..... again it can be perfect timing.... thats the upside.... it can be great for a band like KAZY and I believe it is. i just need support.... i need ur guys support more than ever... to step up and help spread the word now and especially when the new record drops... essentially its YOU GUYS that will make Kazy hit. THE FANS..... THE STREET TEAMERS........ i appreciate that... and i appreciate u guys understand when im not around for a week here or there to respond to your messages right away (because I do respond to EVERY SINGLE ONE eventually). I appreciate that if you win a contest you can be patient for the CD to arrive.. KNOW IT WILL COME... it might take 3 weeks or 4 weeks... but it WILL show up. With all this said... when i read a message from a fan... a supposed fan.... telling me they are losing faith in me because they didnt get their FREE CD right away, it makes me upset... it pisses me off... mostly because i need more time in the day to get every aspect of the project running on all cylinders...... and more help from you guys to make the dream come to life.... need new quality street teamers, need current street teamers to keep believing if u have the time to give to the street team or can do something to spread the word.... its very appreciated.... let me know.... So yeah..... just needed to express some of that... this industry of music is a mutha fucka... and its one we will prevail in and be an example of how to do it... so thanks for the support and keep believing... this new record will show all the hardwork and dedication.......... be cool.... and post some halloween pics!!!!!! yeah its been a while since Ive ranted on something.. i guess this is the time... ya know... ill tell you what... there are so many of u that i hear from on a regular basis for so long now... i just want to say that it genuinely means alot to me. theres a real sense of loyalty... super special people help me DAILY with my street team... and so many of u write to check in with whats going on with your lives... wow.. i sound like a pussy.. let me fix that real quick... FUCK YOU! ok... anyway...LOL ... getting on to the point here....... there are people who act like they are a higher level... maybe because their job, or who they know, maybe how they look, maybe how they fuck. but you know what? they dont mean DOG SHIT if they arent quality people. well.. KAZY SAYS.... these people can suck my cock.... 1. people who dont think they have issues. we all have fucking issues. the fact someone thinks they dont have an issue shows they have a major issue. 2. people who think they are cooler because of their job/career. hey.. if u earned it.. God bless. but if you are an asshole about it... then fuck you... dont be a prick... help someone who dont have that to get there. u asshole. 3. people who think they look so fucking great the red sea should part when they walk by it. i wish i could control the red sea... cuz when they went by it, id part it with my remote control... then when they try to walk through i press the RELEASE button and drown them. ; )~ 4. people who call out for help and call out to friends only when they need it, but then in return arent there for the same people who help them. now that pisses me off. suck my cock twice! twice at once! if thats possible. 5. people who dont stop and ask you how you are. its the most basic simple human level of respect. how are you? how do you feel? and then do they listen to the answer? they should listen. or maybe they are already sucking my cock, which in that case, leave them alone. so yeah.... alot of people suck... but alot of u people dont and i dont even know u that well... but i do feel the vibe from alot of you... a real vibe... a down to earth vibe... and i appreciate the fuck out of that. raise the flag. kazy

From July 23rd 2007 I gotta share some of this craziness with you guys...... Ill preface it all by saying Ive been CRANKIN on studio work the past couple weeks. I have to say im probably more focused in the past 4 weeks on music than anything ever in my life. Just completely hardcore endulged in it.. it all goes back to the GOETHE saying i have hung up on my walls in my house... about how when you are 100% commited to something, ONLY THEN will you get the full benefits from what you are focused on. He says when you are 100%, things happen that wouldnt of otherwise happened. Well, its happening. Seriously unbeleiveable results so far with drums, guitar and bass tracks. All drum tracks are done, about 70% of guitars and almost half of the bass tracks. But check this out.... it dont come without some serious shit... So Ray, the KAZY guitarist tracking on most of this record came in from Detroit (313 wut up Em) and spent 5 days here to track.... so here is life.... were about to start, have my engineer here at the KAZY pad, get everything mic'd up, guitars all set up from Third Coast Guitars, Rays in town, were all set to go! Nope. My main AMP dont turn on. Actually it did turn on... it turned on ME! That bastard amp! I love that amp. ok so we have a love hate. But the amp didnt work! So we hurry and change all the tubes in it HOPING its just the tubes that need to be changed, get em all in.... NOPE. Still dont work. Now what? Well we need to go get one... its a hard to find amp, a MESA ROAD KING, but we found one at G Center that we had to actually buy to "try out" for a few days. Late start but the day went well.... after about 11 at night we cant track loud blazing guitars or my neighborhood will flip, so we turn to do acoustic stuff late night.... we get it all mic'd up for acoustic... Im ready... Rays ready... the acoustic is BUZZING LIKE CRAZY... every damn string on frets all over the guitar are BUZZING LOUD. THANKS THIRD COAST GUITARS FOR FUCKING ME!!!!! I hire them to set up the guitars so THEY DONT BUZZ. it had MORE BUZZ then when I gave it to them. Of course this is majorly boosted once we get the studio dead from sound and killer mics up. ANYWAY... so here we are at 2am with me and Ray ripping my house apart to find an alan wrench so he can set it up himself, which he did pretty well.... we got it practically buzz free..... then we track till 6am or so. And were listening at like 6:30 am and something not right..... OH MAN.. get this... and this ones on me. My tuner got changed somehow to 432hrtz instead of standard tuning at 440. SO EVERYTHING WE RECORDED WITH ACOUSTICS WAS OUT OF TUNE... better yet.... all the bass tracks I had done before Ray got to town were all at 432. Yeah..... insane. SO.... after ending the night with a few shots of JD, we hit the next day strong... laid some bass down, and started crankin on guitars...... the day is going GREAT.... huge momentum.... as were tracking... check this... a MAJOR storm hits.... lighting hits a tree that falls across my entire stree (huge trees in my town) and knocks out the power lines. MOMENTUM- GONE. FUCK. So... I bust out the video tape and show the emergency trucks n shit outside which Ill share eventually.... and were down for about 3 hours. Finally get back up and wrap up the night strong. From there the next 2 days went amazing... we hit stride and shits sounding KILLER. So I guess what Im saying here is... LIFE IS CRAZY NUTS NUTTY CRAZY AND NUTS! All this hard work and focus and all these things that try and stop you..... yet with the commitment at 100% you make it past the obstacles..... break through them.... because if you KNOW its going to happen then NOTHING can stop you.... NOTHING. Not only that, the tracks that are getting recorded and laid down are better than I could of expected. Im amazed really. I had to take time to do this blog and bulletin.... its been itching at me... jsut havent been on here much at all with all the focus on the tracking. So things are going well! Thanks for the continued support... so much shits gonna be coming out once this records done.... new myspace designed page, the record, more merch, a new video, etc etc etc... Vocals- Violins- Mixing- NEW MYSPACE PAGE- NEW MUSIC VIDEO -Jack Daniels VOCALS: FINALIZING PRODUCTION IDEAS *locking down melodies, approach, microphones, location, etc. *featuring FORBIDDEN on a song called FATE.. yes FORBIDDEN will be tracking on a KAZY song. * featuring PICASSO, a killer vocalist out of Chicago on 3 KAZY songs.. his chemistry with KAZY is second to none... u gotta hear it! VIOLINS-VIOLAS-CELLOS *After contemplating, im doing all real violin, viola and cello parts. Ive got some killer players picked out.. we start tracking strings this weekend! MIXING *Got TOBY WRIGHT (has worked with: alice in chains, korn, metallica, tantric, primus, fishbone) MIXING for KAZY.... this is huge... Toby is a fucking incredible talent... one of the few in the country that can make songs sound the way they do. NEW MYSPACE PAGE *IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE! Credit to SHOCKFORCE for helping build this thing. Will launch soon. MUSIC VIDEO * When the record comes out I want you guys to VOTE for which song KAZY makes a video for!!!
