i had lived there from Dec 08, to April 30, 12, so 3yrs and 4 months, and i had just passed a hud inspection few months before i moved out, there were no damages and i had cleaned everything to the best i could, and i had even spackled were i had pictures hung "" and yet out of that $1.005.00 security deposit, and they keep the pet fee of $300.00 "" i got back `` $300.00 "" is all """ :( no wonder they don`t mind renting to low income they kept $700.00 of my security + the $300.00 pet fee total of $1,000.00 they got away with steeling from a poor person "" because they know we have no way to fight it "" we can`t ford a lawyer "" and there`s no programs protecting the poor about security deposit returns "' :(
