HE IS HOME
KALEB IS HOME!!!!! ..
I am sorry that it has taken me so long to post an update, we have been busy busy busy. First thing this AM we got to take Kaleb for a walk together. He is def starting to make more noises and cry more. He started twitching on the way back to his room. I thought "Oh no not a seizure"... Because if he had had one they might of not released him today. The doctors determined that it wasn't, THANK GOD. Then we had a car seat evaluation. That went well. Then FINALLY it was time!!!! As I finished packing up the entire room, I looked back and noticed how empty it was. Kaleb lit up that room and now it is so bland. But at the same time I was releived and had the overwhelming happiness. We are FINALLY going home. This is a huge weight lifted off our shoulders!!! So our car ride was long but we made it home before it really started to storm. Waiting at the house were 3 nurses from the home health company. I took Kaleb inside and laid him down in his bed. He was crying!!!! He seems to already be responding to more at home. When his pump beebed he turn his head all the way in the direction from which it was coming. God has filled me with peace and love. I love him more and more everyday.
This will have to be it for today, I am EXHAUSTED. Even though we are home we just sat down for the night.
