Havoc Wrought
Valiant Knights on steeds so strong,
ride into battle armor shining.
They fight while singing berserkers song,
and watch with reverence carrion dining.
Their swords drawn and sheathed in blood,
Moonlight shines from steely blades.
Battlefield littered with bodies in mud,
died fighting a battle from which heroes are made.
The minions of hell stand against onslaught,
but these lost souls march on without fear.
For they've once already stood and fought,
against all odds for what is held dear.
Lightning shatters summer night,
and the thunder warns of doom to come.
Winged birds wild have taken flight,
to escape this war torn kingdom.
Now look on the land this war was fought,
and see the cost was far too dear.
Land which lay barren after mayhems been wrought,
A kingdom, which shall never recover, I fear.
