Momentary Muse's blog: "Have you ever noticed?"

I have spend decades watching people and trying to get a good grip on how humans think. yet it keeps raising one question over and over. Here are a series of questions that pertain to that one question in a round about way. Why do people that say every living thing should be protected swat misquitoes? Why do people that say we should save energy and not pollute make fun of those who hang clothes on a line rather than use a dryer.  Why do they say loud pipes save lives, but they do not want you to have a loud car? Why do those opposed to testing drugs on animals buy drugs for their ill family members? Why do people who oppose eating animals wear leather or eat gelitan? Why do people say they want to be treated like everybody else unless you do then they don't like it? How can a person that says they hate all bigots not consider themselves one? Why do those opposed to violence call the police?  It goes on and on and I do hope that you will free to add your own questions to the list.

Which leads me to the one question: Do we just lack commitment to our ideas, not think them all the way through, or just think it should apply only to others?

Have you ever noticed that convicted criminals have more rights than you do? They have the right to not have to work for a living, to have cable tv, to get fed every mealtime, and so on to the point that they not only get free medical but if they need an organ transplant, they are put at the front of the waiting list. I have often wondered why this is allowed to happen! If we do not work, we do not get to eat and we do get free medical. Why is it that they, who have preyed upon society get everything handed to them. I have been told it is because it is inhumane to force them to work, but the laws of economics force us to work. That since we have locked them away, we are responsible for their well being; but why should we have to provide them with more than is needed to survive when we will not do this for members of our society that have not committed crimes. It seems to me that we do have the responsibility to provide just enough for them to survive and if they want more or better they could work and earn it. This would not only give them an incentive to behave in prison but it would help them learn lessons like "if you want something, you have to work for it" and some work ethics to go along with it. Lessons that would help them if they decide to re-enter society in a noncriminal life. They should never be put at the front of the list for organs, let them wait like the rest of us; they are already getting it for free while hundreds of society are dying because they can not afford the procedure. There is a depression coming so imagine this scenario. Due to a lack of money the government cuts aid to the poor all those people on food stamps have to do without (even the ones that truly deserve them, gas becomes a rare commodity so the government seizes most of it and people can not work and are starving or freezing during the winter and there is not enough to farm the food. The convict on the other hand sit in a warm cell and get three meals a day, because they have the right to be taken care of and they can watch as society dies for their comfort. You think I am kidding, but do a little reading, the laws give them the right to survive in such conditions, but you are not granted those rights, you are under discretionary spending; if you know what I mean. Have you ever wondered what would happen in a worse case scenario?

Have you ever noticed that the government uses the same tactics and ploys to get you to do what they want as the gangs do on the streets? They extort money from you and say it is for your protection and if you do not pay they will take or destroy all that you own, even lock you up. You can not even own a house, you can rent one; if you do not believe me stop paying the 'rent' in the form of taxes and see how long you stay there. They intimidate you with the threat of prison and if you still do not comply they will use force to beat you into submission and if that doesn't work they will kill you in self-defense. Yet it all for your own good and even done in your name, you pay for it, and have very little that you can do about it. In the end governments are just bigger gangs than the ones on the street. Have you ever noticed that?

Have you noticed how much money they spend to tell us things that we already knew? They spent two billion dollars to tell us that men and women think differently, HELLO! What scares me more is some of the things that they predict! They say time travel is coming, I have a serious problem with that. The first law of physics is that any particular matter can only exist in one place at any given time, a molecule can not be in two places or more at the same time; makes sense right? If a person is transported back in time where the molecules that make up their being already exist, the same molecules would be existing in two different places at the same time. the only way around this would be if the molecules were stripped from where they were at the time and reformed into the person doing the traveling. If this was done the problem would be solved, except what if those molecules were important where they were before they were stripped away; like in the trigger restraint of an atomic bomb. That could be embarrassing, huh! Talk about changing the past,lol. So what if they could transport somebody back and did not have to strip away the molecules; that would mean that the first law of physics was wrong. The very foundation of all of the laws and principals that were used to build the time machine to start with would be proven wrong. Would you really want to be the first person to take that trip?

I have been cursed! Due to many things that happened when I was very young, I love women. Get your minds out of the gutter for a moment. I mean I love women, there is just something about a woman that is so beautiful, please get your mind out of the gutter,lol. Anyway the thing is that I have been cursed, not that I cannot get women to want to be around me, this has never been a problem. I am not a pretty guy, but I have had some of the most beautiful women on earth surrounding me. The problem is that I am the guy they want as a friend, somebody they can trust to give them good advice and to be honest with them. It seems that once you are cast in that role, they can not see that it would make you an ideal lover so it will never cross their mind that you want them. To complicate things more, if you mention it they look at you funny and think that you are kidding. It is like being in a candy store with a sweet tooth and diabetes. I am know it sounds like I am complaining and to a point I am, it would not be so bad being cursed like this, but I love women and wish I could find one that would the same to me!

Have you ever noticed that women say "All I want is a man that will love me and treat me with respect" and then they turn down guys that are too old, too ugly, too fat, too skinny, too whatever? Over the years I have watched them turn guys down and hook up with some pretty boy that treats them like dirt. Most of them do not seem to learn from it either, at least not until they get much older. I remember one lady that rejected this guy because he was too old, he did not look the part. After two bad marriages and numerous failed relationships she ended up marrying a guy that could have been a twin to the one she originally rejected; of course by then the original was too old to consider marrying her,lol. Had her standards changed as she aged, or had she just gotten wiser and realized that the older, fatter, thinner, or whatever guy was the one that was most likely to treat her the way she needed to be? At the wedding all I could think of was "What a waste of all of those years and tears" when she ended up with what she had thrown away to start with. I do wish they would just be honest like they say they want us to be and admit that what they want is a Brad Pitt that will treat them like an ugly guy will. I am not saying that guys are any better, but at least they say they want a woman with big hooters or whatever and just that they want somebody that will love them. Life is funny, she ended up being happy with the guy and they are still married today. Have you ever noticed how it turns out like that so often?
