I’m beside myself. I am a 54 year old, single, Californian male with no dependants or family. I was a “Personal Services Contractor” with the intelligence community. I was assign the middle east and northern Africa 1981-1993.
My income was cut in half due to Multiple Sclerosis, November 1993. I was told by government representatives “You can NO longer perform your mission.” I was dropped like a HOT rock. I do not have the ability to print money to shore up my budget. I am so offended with the manor our federal government “BAILED OUT” the banking and auto industries. I ask WHY? No one stepped in to bail me out, then or now. It is up to me to decide weather I pay for my medications, food, health care or keep a roof over my head. It was NOT errors in my judgment that caused the 50% loss of income, but it was up to me, me to deal with it. My health care is doing an adequate job, I have no complaints except for my increasing cost. But I will suffer if the government implements their health care agenda. Why do does our legislature think they are smarter and knows better what is good for me, but does not include them. I am pretty much home bound and have NEVER been asked my opinion. With all the blood, sweat, and tears I spilled for this country, I feel DUMPED and dumped on. A crappy way to treat an unsung hero.
Why is our president assigning czars to work around our laws? Some of these Czars failed to pay their taxes for years. I’d be in jail if I attempted that action, but these cats were put in charge. Why was this allowed? We have more czars in the US, than in communist countries, they are multiplying like weeds. Why are we allowing our president to circumvent the constitution.
Every time Ms Pelosi speaks I become more offended. The way in which she talks down to us is unbelievable. What is on the mind of her supporters? Some of the stimulus funds, our taxes, millions of dollars to save a “field mouse” in California. Come on, isn't any one get offended hearing this crap? The way the PORK is layered in the bills.
I invite you politicians’ to come to my small town, Tehachapi, California to explain to me why you know better than I do, what is best for me. I’m not the brightest bulb on the string, but I see this country being lead down the wrong path. I hope someone hears me and hears me soon, I don’t believe I am alone.
