I coached cheer leading for a pop warner type league as an assistant coach for two years. This year, a new cheer commissioner has taken over, and delayed letting any former coaches know whether they would be invited back this year.
I had let her know, at our first season meeting, that I was willing to help. Until yesterday, I had heard nothing, ( other than working at registrations) As to whether I was going to be coaching. I received an email, telling me, that I would again, be assisting. However, they need another head coach. Since I heard nothing, and they assumed that I would still help( I am) Should I take the other head coach position, or just say no, and stick to helping since they waited so long in letting me know? |
