Gawd I feel old now! 3: I was a pretty decent volleyball player back in grade school, even won our section trophy. 4: I use to be a serious hard core power weight lifter and worked out 4 days a week for years. 5: Cocoanut is my kryptonite! Makes me ill just to smell it. 6: I should have died many times over through the years but I somehow am still here. (3 times drowning, 2 near misses with cars, 1 car tow, 1 electrocution) Last one blacked me out and threw me across the room so it counts lol. 7: I use to sing in school and in church choir for years. 8: A great uncle drove in the Indy 500 one year back in the 60s. Wrecked half way but was in it. 9: I am a published poet and submitted a story to be used as a script for a porn movie (no response but I bet I see that damn thing used in a flick one day!) 10: At one time in my life I was EXTREMELY based in religion to a point that my path was to be an evangelist. Spent a few years deep in study and prep and "pounding pulpits" so to speak lol. Revelation was my message. The sci-fi feel of revelation grabbed me and my sermons were usually based on how "Y'all are gonna burn for your sins or get left behind to burn on this dead, doomed rock!" lol. WTF? I mean on a normal day in a normal week I'd be all for observing a religious holiday but this is far from a normal day. The U.S. economy is crumbling by the hour and they decide taking a holiday is a good idea???? 777 points in one day is not a small hiccup in the system. This day they decide to take could be the deciding day as to whether we pull out of this shit or not. I mean they seem to be acting like this is no big deal and maybe for them it isn't but everyone else on a global scale this MUST be resolved and fast! Great way to instill confidence in our elected leaders when they are willing to leave us swinging in the breeze another day. Facts are facts, yeah the bailout blows huge but we have NO OTHER OPTIONS! Is nice to know our elected officials have their priorities in line and taking a day off for a holiday most will do nothing religious anyhow. Yeah, great use of time in an urgent and dire moment.
