I'm a pretty simple guy with simple tastes. It may sound corny but I feel that chivalry still has a place in this world. No, I won't take off my jacket and lay it across a puddle so a woman's feet don't get wet. But holding a door open, being polite, and many other minor things are what make me, me. I am an empathic person in the metaphysical sense. Being in a crowded room like a bar, club or party will give a me a huge headache. But this also makes me very easy to talk to.
I found a quote a while back that comes close to describing how I feel about certain things:
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

Music
Music is one of those things that bring a lot of joy into my life. I don't play but I love to listen. I grew up listening to Country (Kenny Rodgers, Glen Campbell) as well as C.W. McCall and The Kingston Trio.
Over the years I've fallen in love with songs and artists that call to the heart. Celtic Women, Il Divo, and Trans Siberian Orchestra just to name a few. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.
