Link- FORSAKEN MEMORY <---LinkLuke born during the mid-eighties, grew up in a small town on the south coast of England.Luke was always the cheeky but charming bastard in the class room, although it took him a while to find his own identity he never was one of the crowd, from the age of 12 he took up skating a not very popular hobbie at the time as one of only about five people that skated in the local area. Luke was keen on the idea ofstarting a band with his best friend Dave Gibb (Who is now a massive DJ and one of the top members of hitsquadrecords.co.uk) although this idea was pretty odd as although dave could sing, Luke had no musical talent what-so-ever! not to mention as tone deaf as a broken piano. Luke wouldn't let this stop him though He hooked up with a friend Adam Dibley (a rich boy with a drumkit) and they pulled together a guitarist and a bassist to form the punk band "Suicidal Dreams" and wrote their first, last and only song "Anarchy set me free" then the guitarist walked out after the 2nd day of playing together for unknown reasons. Luke undeterred by this decided he would continue the band anyway and just learn to play the guitar. Luke obviously didn't understand that it actually takes time to learn an instrument, or at least didn't care. Luke borrowed his first guitar (a Fender Squire) from a cousin that had got it for chirstmas and hadn't really bothered learning. Luke then bought some tab books from a friend that no longer wanted them and started to learn. 6 months passed and Luke picked up at an incredibal rate. He was no genius, but he stood out from the standard guitar player. He took part in his first show playing for a greece band supporting the school play. To which Luke got bored half way through and started to play Green day songs in the middle of it, of which no one actually noticed. Luke still really wanted to learn how to sing but was still tone deaf as a dead donkey, so he took up singing lessons with a teacher from the local area for about 9 months. At which time he decided he had learnt as much as he could from someone else, and would learn the rest as he went along. He practiced everyday, driving his nieghbours mad from dawn til dusk. Luke Had given up every other passion and hobbie he had before and music completely took over. He was consumed by the very concept and magic that he had discovered in music. He was completely obsessed, but i'm sure you get the picture by now! Luke had already written a huge catalog of songs, of which he started to do recordings of at home using nothing but a lead into a tape player. After he left school he applied for a music course at a local college which provided recording studio's for students to practice in. Luke often stayed behind after hours until the studio closed to work on his music. Although he was never keen on a lot of the tasks he was set for classes and only left the course with a pass, he did get a special notice for his skills of song writting and production in the studio. He would always smile when he heard other students humming his tunes or singing his lyrics as they went on about their day. That's when Luke really knew he had something special, although he was dissapointed as it seemed that no one else wanted to acknowledge this fact. Not even the members of his own family and closest friends. This frustated him emencely as he couldn't figure out what was missing from the mix, or even if anything was. While at college He decided to learn the drums and after saving up bought his first drumkit. although it was a piece of shit and the friend he bought it off probably ripped him off really badly, Luke loved it. Shortly after picking up the drums his first real practice as a singer came about in the form of a band called "Recoil" on the local scene with whom Luke played his first paid gig, but luke soon left that band through differences in image. Times started to become a little rough for Luke, as drinking became a daliy habit and which only got worse when he left home at the age of 18. Even though in hard times luke fought on and started a music program for musicians out of work. Where he met Chris Cowan who he joined forces with and formed the band "Will Play 4 Food" a punk indie band with luke on drums as Luke had become a quite talented drummer by this point. Luke continued to join other bands to a point of playing in 5 different groups all at one time this became a little much for Luke and he decided it would be a good idea to cut numbers. With little thought he cut it down to his two favourite groups "Will Play 4 Food' and "Kronenwiza". Will play for food enjoyed some local success with playing around the pubs and clubs and all was looking pretty good. Although During this time unbeknown to most or any of his family and friends Luke had completelty let himself go before even leaving his teenage years with a mind that was barely ever in the plane of reality. His music was the only thing that actually gave him any will to live. but it was too late Lukes addictions had completely destroyed his ability to cope with day to day life. Luke commited himself to rehab after a hard year of complete cold turkey Luke had freed himself from the chains that had once held him down. After joining the world of the living once again. Luke tried to rejoin the bands that he had once enjoyed so much, but something was missing "Will play 4 Food" had all but died and they were to never practice again. Kronenwiza on the other hand started playing together again and things were all looking good. Luke had found his place in the world again he hadn't been this alive in years, but bad luck was to strike again when Andy the guitarist and main song writter for Kronenwiza suffered from a nervous breakdown and was taken back to wales for rehabilitation. Which put a very sudden hault to any plans Kronenwiza had for the future. Luke finally got fed up with his local town and the bad luck that kept on bashing him in the back of the head everytime things were looking good. So he packed his bags and headed for australia as to where the story leads to where it is to date. Luke has many plans for the future and the real story of his life has only just started, as they say "this is not the beggining of the end! Only the end of the beggining"... "GIBSON" 2006
