i feel bad, my lil princess works as a counselor in a home for troubled teen girls. two of them were arguing and she went to go diffuse the situation when the girl that was in her room slammed the door. it pinched off the tip of her middle finger, taking all the meat from the bone up. she went to the trauma center and they flapped it and closed it over the bone. instead of going home after this she went back to work to talk to the girl to tell her she wasn`t mad at her. the girl is one of my daughters favorites and she knew it was an accident. she made sure she lost none of her privileges and took her to lunch today
i feel bad i wasn`t there to hug her but i am so proud of her for thinking more of her young charge than her own injury.
