Lead by mosh-head Sina, BOTTOM is volume drenched metal built on riffs and deep groove. BOTTOM escaped NYC in 1999. After years of touring, BOTTOM grew into its current carnivorous form. Bassist Kevin Harding and trap artist Chis Colebourn, originally from SF's durge rock outfit The Pale Horse, most recently joined BOTTOM after Sina and Kevin met while playing in a Bay Area deathmetal band called Angrboda. Heavily influenced by steak, black tooth and conspiracy theories, BOTTOM’s current HQ is in San Francisco. BOTTOM's debut, Made in Voyage, was recorded in NYC, produced by Greg Gordon (engineer for Slayer, Helmet, and Public Enemy) and released in 1999 on the band's label Mudflap Records. After launching their first European invasion in 2002, BOTTOM returned stateside preparing for their next release. Their second long player, "Feels So Good When You're Gone", was co-produced by Billy Anderson (Mr. Bungle, Neurosis, Sleep). After the fall of Mans Ruin Records, "Feels So Good When You're Gone" was re-issued by Lee Dorian's UK label Rise Above Records. Spinning a sinister tale in a glamorous Apocalypse, "Feels so Good When You're Gone" is thick with monster riffs, killer hooks and simultaneously makes your ears bleed while your doomed heart leaps with joy. You'rNext is BOTTOM's most experimental release to date featuring voluminous feedback passages as well as the unexpected violin, trumpet and flute embedded in rock tracks. You'rNext is a dark folktale that twists and turns like an old saw wiseacre then digs into your head like a ritual from the Book of the Dead. Delivered with all the subtlety of the Grim Reaper, "You'rNext" tells a gypsy lie using minor chords, soul piercing howls and guitar tones that circle like ravenous buzzards. Van-vagabonds, BOTTOM has played over 1000 shows stateside since 1999 carving a new world order for DIY-touring bands: playing 300 shows a year, taking no prisoners, and destroying a new town every night. Opening Death's Eyes was founded in November of 2005, with the insane giutar riffs of Paul Green and Seth VonHartmann, backed by the undertowing basssist Ryan McCOll, supporting the fist clenching, blood curdling MASSIVE vocals of Jason Lockett, and the ever pushing hell hammers Warren Brewer. Together they united into a force bringing massive crowds of people with the only intention of headbanging, moshing and releasing pure, metal energy of chaos to the massess. Opening Death's Eyes has become one of the BIGGEST bands to come across the Orlando area. The insane sound of Opening Death's Eyes has been bringing metal back to the scene with the intention of domination. Formed in the summer of 1999, Southern California Heavy Metal band SANGRE has made a name for themselves by Playing Countless shows, through endless Footwork and self promotion, and by creating true to life, aggressive, heavy, and at times melodic metal music.
