There are those here and elsewhere, who love to spread bizarre (and verifiably false) rumors about Senator Obama. They range from:
He is the Anti-Christ (I think Revelations would require a different look, unless he has a very good plastic surgeon)
He is a Muslim (he has belonged to the same Christian Church for over 20 years)
He refuses to say the Pledge of Allegiance (google it, and you can watch him leading it in the United States Senate)
He was sworn in on the Koran (the only person who was, Keith Ellison, is a House member from Minnesota ... are you confused because you think "they" all look alike?)
There are others, but that is a representative sample.
There are two kinds of people who do such things; the ignorant, who can change that status whenever they chose to verify the truth of what they are saying, and stop after they do so; and the stupid, who are political terrorists who strap packs of lies to their chests and explode them in public places, for whom the truth has no meaning.
My MUMM concerns what should be done with the stupid:
Should they
A.) Be beaten severely with a copy of the Democratic Party Platform?
or
B.) Be left unmolested as reminders of the consequences of allowing cousins to marry? |
