Waiting in the darkness,
For some light to shine,
Ever since she left,
My world has been dark and cold,
Loss of all feeling,
No more control over emotions,
I sit here and wonder,
Why life has left me all alone,
No more love to give,
No more tears to cry,
Feeling cold and empty inside,
As though sometime soon,
I will be cradled in the arms of darkness,
As my life slowly says goodbye.
