All too often we find it difficult to express how we feel though there are many tools out there to help us. Music, words, a card or even simply a hand written note. We forget that sometimes it takes a bit more than mere spoken words to truly reach deep inside to the person with whom we are speaking to. It takes but a moment to say thank you for something someone did for us at the moment. Just imagine if we took the time to actually write those words down and gave it to that same person and what it would mean to them.

We tell those whom we love, "I love you" freely sometimes to a point that it may lose its true meaning. When is the last time you expressed those words in something more than verbal or during your "love making" sessions. Have you thought about dropping a note in your wife's purse to let her know that you are thinking about her? Have you left a messge in his car taped to the steering wheel just to say that you are thinking about him? With modern technology of today we sometimes and all too often to do something as simple as writing a hand written note to say I love you to those with whom we do.

Expressings one's feelings should never be so difficult unless we live in such a guarded world that we close our hearts off to everyone. I know it seems that this author has done that in more ways than one and all too often. 

How do we over come that obstacle...a great friend once gave me the advice of trust and open your heart and let it lead you and you will find what you are looking for. Well if you stop to think about it, if we just stop letting our brain getting in the way and sometimes actually speak from the heart would our world not be a little bit of a better place?

I write this entry to maybe help a new friend, and give them a way to express their feelings. I will not ever mention names within what I write but those who read this and know who I am talking to I give you credit where credit is due but out of respect to your privacy I omit names.

Visit your heart from time to time with an open mind and listen to it and you will be surprised how much more freely your mind will be and less likely to get in the way.
