hello hello hello....
Well, what a day i have had thanks to my ear and friends on CT. As a few of you may know if you read my blog before i have had and still have a really bad ear infection. At times i could of quite easily got a knife and cut off my own ear...a bit like van gogh...though I'm shit a painting lol...unless its them paint by numbers ones lol..**slightly sidetracked there sorry**
Where was i....oh yes.. so the pain was friggin intense to say the least. I was in agony, had seen a really shit doctor down my surgery and was still none the wiser... that was until my very own CT guardian angel gave me a shout after reading my blog.
Her name on Ct is ~~kit~~ aka Katherine, and she is an Emergency room nurse over there in the good old USofA. She told me to ask my Dr next time i see him for a certain thing. So i would like to quickly say thank you to this young lady for trying to help me in my hour of need, it was appreciated so thanks. xxxxx mwah mwah mwah xxxx
Anyway, this morning i was still in unbelievable pain and so rang my surgery and made an appointment to see a doctor carrying the knowledge my CT angel had given me. So at 8.55am this morning i walked into the surgery for my appointment. My Dr....an American called Larry, from Houston Texas. lol Can you believe that. lol
I told him my problems with my ear and what my buddy on Ct had told me to ask for. He smiled when i asked for it.." You don't get it over here in the uk i'm afraid, but it was nice to hear its name, reminded me of home" he said. and he asked me to thank Katherine...which i will do once i finish this.
He looked in my ear and told me i have an infection of the outer and inner ear and that i also have an apsis inside which is causing all the pain. This has spread to the side of my face and jaw and the rest is history. He prescribed me a load of new..stronger drugs, shock my hand , wished me well, and made an appointment for me tomorrow to check how I'm doing. .....Now I'm from the Uk so it pains me to say this but....Holy shit was that guy way more professional,understanding, and pleasant then any English doctor i ever seen.
I came home have taken the drugs at the times asked....and even though it still hurts like hell i believe this doctor and my CT angel have got it right this time and my ear just might get better...
We will see tomorrow. lol
