Sexy

I call you sexy and you look at me,

As if this too often you've heard,

What you don't know is that you haven't,

For most don't know the meaning of that word,

Many give compliments to others,

To improve how in they are seen,

using what sounds like pleasant adjectives,

Yet not knowing what they truly mean,

I could call you cute , or what some call adorable,

As how people use to describe a puppy or child,

And I wouldn't be misusing the word at all,

Especially when one thinks to your smile,

I could also look at you and call you Pretty,

As one would describe a flower or the evening sky,

There would be nothing but truth in my words,

Anyone that denies this needs only look at your eyes,

Another word that I could use would be hot,

As people call those who's shape are for the eyes a feast,

We both know that I'd still be using a word perfectly,

From your ability to awaken many other's inner lust beast,

Though I think I prefer to call you sexy rather than the others,

For sexy is not just in a smile , or eyes, or exquisitely shaped frame,

Sexy is in all those things and those that can't be physically gotten,

Sexy is in your aura, your movement, your ability to make an entire room's mood change

Sexy is in all the  lightly spoken words floating like mist from your mouth,

Sexy is in the looks you give that makes one forget how to say their name,

How time watching you slows but never slow enough so you won't leave,

Sexy is in knowing just getting a kiss from you will leave one never the same,

Of all the words to describe you in their truest form Sexy fits you best,

This is why when other mouths call you sexy it's not like mine,

Sexy is what you are, that which leaves me completely intoxicated,

As I slowly savor the essence and taste of you like perfectly aged wine.
