| Ok I have been friends with this person for 22 years. We went to school together hung out went to parties together....we had a costume contest and went as sonny and Cher for Gods sake!! Have kept in touch all this time. I went to visit him last year in his home town. THOUGHT we were still pretty close BUT!!! I didnt get an invitation to his wedding. Im really kinda hurt. I mean I would have made time and put forth an effort to go see him if he had invited me. Its out of state and a 6 hr drive but I would have done it for him and if I had gotten married he would have been one of the first ppl I would have invited. Am I wrong for being upset? I know we arent as close as we used to be but since he got his girl we kinda slowed down and I understood she took priority but am I wrong for being hurt by this apparent snub? |
