a poem of betrayal

Is it wrong to hate someone you used to love with all your heart?

Be content with things that never go your way.

I think its sad to try and dream some things,

you know that never will come true,

like the dream I have of always loving you.

I think I've spent too much time trying to make you see whats best for you.

When your not only hurting yourself,

your hurting me too!

I dream I used to have of us being together for all time,

is a dream I have to realize

is just a dream

and is a lie.

For you will never see past the things I did

or ask me why,

all you know is I'm still loving you

and I'm dying deep inside.

You don't seem to care

that the things I do are getting out of hand,

and I can't control my feelings for you

although your just another man.

Can't you see that this charade of ours needs to end,

so I can try to get on with this life.

If you keep on pulling me around,

give me hope

than let me go,

I don't think that I will ever find a way

to let you know.

I need to give up on loving you today,

but its too hard to do

when I'm loving you this way...
