Lets see, where do I begin?! Through Mike (MJBlette - see previous blog), I met his best friend Deb a.k.a. D.A.M.. As I went to Mike's page daily, I started reading the comments that Deb left on his page and on his pics and just knew she was someone I wanted to say hi to but waited until she was in a contest. Mike asked for my support in helping her in the contest (I think it was a Hot Mom but could have been Hot Bod contest...hehe) and I gladly went over and helped. As Mike & her were comment bombing back and forth, I got in on the conversation. Deb wasn't sure I knew how to take her & Mike's comments since some of them were really raunchy. lol But her personality is a lot like mine and we both have a great sense of humor so I knew they didn't mean anything bad by their comments. Needless to say, in a short period of time, Debbie & I started talking with one another and became friends.
Then a few months ago, Mike decided to have a 3 way call so that Debbie & I could talk on the phone (and Mike could prove that Deb had such a southern accent. lol). And then it really begun! LMAO! Ever since, we email one another, talk & comment on CT and on IM ...and then there is the phone. hehe We can talk for hours but usually only get a chance once per week. Thank goodness for great long distance phone plans! :P
On April 1st, Deb's 2 sons joined CT so I went over and said hi and introduced myself to them. Within just a few hours, her oldest son Scott came back and said Hi and from that moment on, we have been attached at the hip (well, not literally of course...lol). So, not only is Deb an extremely good friend of mine but she's also my future mommy-n-law!!! (Thank you so much Deb! Not only are you a wonderful friend but you have provided me with my future hubby!) :) Who would have guessed?! And I couldn't ask for a nicer one! It's nice to know that I won't loose touch with someone who touched me in such a wonderful way! :) And although it drives Scott nuts how much we talk sometimes (hehe), he appreciates how well we get along and close we are as friends. :)
Her big talent is photography and not only can she take an awesome picture but she is very photogenic! She has a charming personality, is quick witted, can hold a great conversation and is so much fun. Guys, please behave! Or at least hold back until you get to know her!
