Cruel are the days of my life
filled with much sorrow and strife.
Every night I pray to the stars
Lord please stop the fighting and wars.
Cruel are the ways of the world
with all of its hatred and lies.
Above all of the fighting and screaming
we cannot hear our peoples cries.
As cruel as a cold winter night
I refuse to give up this fight.
Like getting thrown into hells boiling pool
this world has never been more cruel.
