Contentedly dreaming... exploring Texas together
Grabin' our hats ...slippin' into our jeans and boots...off to a trip to my little piece of heaven.... ( of course a few more comfortable things packed away ).... a time of back to nature, the great outdoors... feeling the energy of the sun and air filling you up, re-energizing your soul!
Riding the mechanical horse of the day... 4wheelers needing gas and not hay... racing down trails... roaming the woods... seeing he surprises that pop out around the next bend, that big buck that is seldom seen, leaping from his hiding spot, the wild hogs running for cover.... turkeys flying back up to roost........ out of control, acting like kids, laughing it up... in wild abandon, without a care in the world... and noone around to give us a stare.
Running thru creeks, mud and muck...getting covered from head to toe, just to stay cool....only to end up in the side yard pool. Once all cleaned and refreshed...it's out under a big tree, for an afternoon rest. All stetched out, with only a breeze.. he starts a warm oil massage, well below her knees. One side and the other.. there won't one spot left untouched or not covered.
Evening meal well prepared.... pork tenderloin over cherrywood perfected on the grill, served with all the fixings, and wine poured with just the right chill.
The sun sinks below the horizon.. slipping from view... now it's desert served for just me and for you. Key lime pie or strawberry cheescake he may make... either of.. you shall partake. Served fireside with no silverware or plate.. our hands and our fingers both do make.
Settling back, needing rest for days .... into the fire.. they both begin to gaze... Exchanging thoughts. ideas, and dreams....exploring each others minds, they do begin... ..where things will go..... we'll know in the end.....
