Well I am never good at filling out these things but here goes. My name is Christalyn I currently live in Texas but I was born and raised in North Carolina. I am fullblood Cherokee I was born on the Rez. I take great pride in my heritage and im proud to be a Native. I am 21 yrs old and I attend college, I received an Associates degree in IT/Visual communication and now I am getting my bachelors in IT and Web design. I am also an artist I plan to use my art ability and degree to become a special effects artist. I can not think of anything else to put at the moment so I will leave you with some poems I wrote.
The blood that courses through my veins Runs true to the Cherokee. I am the blood of my people. I am Cherokee. The trail that my forefathers walked, Saturated in their tears, The trail has become my trial I listen with their ears. I heard the wailing of the Cherokee Proud of the salty tears, I cry the tears of the Cherokee Even after all these years. I walk the trail that they cried, I hear their voices frail, I bear the blood of the Cherokee.
