Sitting in the darkness
Knees pulled so close to you.
Thoughts come, thoughts go
So many ideas and questions.
Rain runs down the window
Figures of people walking below.
Your voice, that earlier had so many things to say, now is gone.
Your tear stained eyes don't move.
Fixed on the happy lights outside
Your mind replays events that seemed to of happened years ago.
Finally, moving slowly
You crawl on hands and knees.
My motionless body still on the floor
You keep asking if I'm alright.
You see the bloody knife beside me.
All the events that happened earlier come back and you remember.
You remember the fight, the acqusations, and you remember...
remember stabbing me.....
You scream my name as you sob.
Pick my lifeless body up in your arms.
Realize there's nothing you can do
Nothing but....
Choose a life of sorrow and regret...
or......
a death of pain and hatred....
