My name is Steve...

I am 50 years old and proud to have reached this milestone in my life. I don't hide behind a caricature of myself because I am ashamed of who I am...I am proud to honor the artist who took the time to make me the gift of her talents.

I am a Professional Chef. I spent most of my career working in the kitchens of luxury hotels. For the past few years I have owned my own restaurant.

I have a second career as an Industrial Engineer. I entered this field in 2004. I work in textiles and get to travel the world as an R & D Engineer.

I Engineer during the week and takeover Head Chef duties on Saturday and Sunday. I consider cooking a hobby and enjoy interacting with my customers. Although, I own my own restaurant, I rarely ever get to be the boss. Being the only Man in the kitchen can be tough at times!

You can be anything you like on the internet. I find it easier just to be me. What would happen if I really met that special someone that took my breath away?

I am single. No, there's nothing wrong with me. Just my life choices went a different direction. Anything else said would just be excuses. I have reached that place in life where I am starting to get restless. I know when it is meant to be....

I love talking food and recipes. I am always looking for unique dishes using common ingredients. My specialty is the spices of the Orient: Garlic, Ginger, and Sesame. Infused with the spices of Central America: Chipotles, Cumin, and Cilantro.
