Ok, I needed a place to vent and Fubar won. I am almost at my whits end. I drive 40 miles to and from work every day. I also spend most of my day driving between stops. Would some one PLEASE tell me the corelation between driving and slowing down 20 miles per hour in the left hand lane while on the DAMN CELL PHONE!!!!!!!!
Ladies and Gentlemen, please please please, for the love of God (or whatever deity you choose to worship) get the hell out of the left lane when you are on the phone. Quit slowing down miles of traffic as you discuss Little Timmy's soccer game, make your hair and nail appointment, talk to you mistress, sell or buy stocks, or any of the millions of other things that are distracting you from doing the one thing you should be doing......CONCENTRATE ON THE DAMN ROAD!!!!!!!!
If you can't talk and drive without affecting the rest of us on the road, then don't answer or dial. If you are lost and need directions...get out of the left lane as you try to drive, talk and look at a map at the same time. And lastly, makeup should be applied before leaving the house, or once you arrive at your final destination, not with the mirror turned towards your face, phone cradled between your neck and ear, and stearing with your knee's, and yes I have seen this.
I swear, I think I am going to start a website that hosts stories and pictures of drivers like this.
People, beleive me when I say I am not a fan of banning cell phones while we drive, I simply wish people would be more courtious and get out of the left lane.
